The title "Trails Plowed Under" comes from a
book by the same name written by our favorite
western artist and story-teller, Charles M. Russell,
a legend in his own time. Thank you Charlie!
The songs on this album, some of which have
been in the works for 3 years, reflect the passion
of the human spirit as it existed in Western
Legend. Some of the tunes concern actual
individuals, while others attempt to touch
imagination and vision.
Bringing the musicians together for this project
took on a magical quality as each person, coming
from a multitude of musical backgrounds and
experience, found their own unique ways to
interpret the tunes and add their special touches.
Ben Winship's Henhouse recording studio in
Victor, Idaho (and Ben, of course!), are truly a
blessing, providing the ways and means for
everyone to share in the amazing experience, the
making of music!
